Cookie & Storage Policy

AuditOwl · Last updated 29 July 2026

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies (such as browser localStorage) that AuditOwl uses. Under EU rules, anything that is not strictly necessary requires your consent — you control this from the banner, the footer ("Cookie settings") or Settings.

1. We do not set tracking cookies

AuditOwl does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. We do not embed third-party marketing pixels. Sign-in uses browser localStorage (covered below) rather than cookies.

2. What we store in your browser

3. Third-party services

  • Google Sign-In — loaded only on the sign-in/registration pages and only if you use it. Google may set its own cookies on its domains as part of authentication.
  • Stripe — when billing is enabled, Stripe may set cookies needed for secure payment and fraud prevention on its hosted checkout/portal.

4. Managing your choices

You can change or withdraw consent at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer or in Settings. Strictly necessary items cannot be switched off because the app cannot function without them.
